Struck down, but not destroyed
Ever since I have been seeking God more and devoting my time to Him the devil has been trying to get in my way. He's done many things like being back memories and tell me that I'm not useful anymore. Also, he's using old people in my life and brining them back to break me.
But I won't be defeated. God says that people will insult and persecute use because they persecuted Him. But our reward is great in heaven and that we should rejoice for the Lord our God is with us.
So yeah when I saw what was going on I was feeling down but as I read the Bible, it lifted my spirit up. Whenever you're going through anything, whether people are insulting you or you're just going through a rough time, just remember that God is ALWAYS watching after you. Youre His people, He won't let you go or leave you. seek Him above all.

Show your faith
Some teens are afraid to stand up for their faith. At my school there are plenty of "Christians" but they just go through the Christian motions. They dont reflect their Christianity in the way they talk or just the way they are in general.
Now i know people say dont judge a book by is cover and you shouldn't do that. But God says in the bible that you CAN "judge" a person by seeing their fruit.
Matthew 7:15
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but
inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will recognize them by their fruits.
Matthew 7:18
A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.
Matthew 7:18 is talking about how a bad person cannot be good and a good person cannot be bad. It also connects to the verse Matthew 6:24 how you cant serve two masters. You pick one or the other. You love one and hate the other. You either love God and hate sin. Or hate God and love sin. You CANT serve both. If you speak perverted words or talking bad stuff just because, but say you are a christian and love God, you're serving both, which cannot be done. Whatever comes out your mouth, whatever you speak should be for the glory of God. When judgement day comes, God will judge you for every word you said, every word that came out of your mouth. So whatever you do, do it for God.But i still come to the point where i DONT get why people today can't stand up for their faith. I mean its sad to see so many people claiming to be a christian but still go back to their sinful ways. Like you go to church on sunday and you'll act like your supposed to but when the weekdays come around, people cant even tell youre a christian. It's like a married couple. A husband visiting his wife on sunday and going through the motions a married couple do. But then when the weekdays come he forgets her and has nothing to do with her. People wouldnt even know he's married because he doesnt live that married life style. You see how that can connect to a christian's life? How some people only go to church because they have to not because they want to and when the weekdays come they go smoke, drink and do whatever they want & people wouldnt even recognize you as a christian.
You cant just live the christian life on a sunday you guys. It has to be every day, every hour, every single minute of your life. You have to be totally committed. Because what good does it do for yourself to say you love God but act worldly? It doesnt do any good.
Taking the Lords name in vain
One thing i see at my school is when people will just randomly take the Lords name in vain. Youre saying his name with no purpose to it. So why do it?
Exodus 20:7
You shalt not take the name of the Lord your God in vain; for the Lord will not hold Him guiltless that takes His name in vain.
It makes no sense, like if youre using his name as a curse word or something & you're just using it for no apparent reason, that's disrespect right there.
Exodus 20:7

Okay so everyone now is too focused on being "cool" or being "popular" especially teenagers now days. Many people even if they're Christians say they love God. But if you are a christian you would want to follow Jesus and the way he lived his life, right? So why do people who say they are Christians still go back to their old bad ways after they repent?
Our world portrays that those little white lies are okay and that doing drugs or having sex before marriage is perfectly fine, its even encouraged & influenced by today's media. What you have to understand is the PRICE that your sin cost. Jesus paid for your sins. He died on a cross, got whipped and his skin torn off his body even if he didn't do anything wrong... He did it FOR YOU. Because He loves you so much. You may think its not a big deal like "oh its just a little lie" but no, it actually is a big deal.
Psalm 101:7
No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house; no one who utters lies shall continue before my eyes.

Madly in love… With Christ
I know so many people think I’m weird. I’ve been called weird and
other names. I’ve been put down and abandoned by friends because of my
faith. Is it wrong to love God with all your heart? Because to me,
Christianity is more than a religion. To me… It’s a relationship. He’s
my father. My savior. My maker. He’s the reason I am happy even through
the toughest times. He gives me strength, joy, peace, and love. It’s
worth it, to know your maker and to lose your sin. DID YOU KNOW THAT YOURE DEARLY LOVED? I rather be called all these names and be abandoned
by my so called “friends” than turn my back on God. Because what really
matters most in this world is your RELATIONSHIP with God.
Without God, who would I even be?
Messing Up
I know I’ve messed up. I’ve messed up so much in my life. And I think
to myself… How can God forgive me? How can He still love me after all
the things I’ve done and how much I’ve messed up? There’s no way.
But that’s when you’re wrong. God LOVE YOU. You and all your flaws.
He’s not the kind of God that will abandon you if you do something
wrong. He has this amazing grace that you can find forgiveness in.
Nehemiah 9:17 Shows what God is known for. “But you are God, ready
to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abundant in kindness,
and did not forsake them”
Why does God forgive us?
Psalm 86:5
“For You, O Lord, are good and ready go forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.”
Psalm 86:5
“For You, O Lord, are good and ready go forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You.”
God forgives you and the best thing to do when you know you’ve messed
up is repent. Ask Him for forgiveness and he’ll be more than happy to
give it to you. I know when I messed up I felt so dirty and like God
could never use me. I felt ashamed of what I did. But talking about it
with God and asking Him to forgive me made me whole again, it made me
feel better and realize that even though I messed up I can always count
on my Father to be there for me and I know that I don’t want to go down
that path I was going.
The Lord our God is soooo good to us, it’s amazing to know that after
everything you do he still forgives you and loves you. So whatever
you’re going through just remember that God loves you and he’s there for
you no matter what<3
Marriage Glue
Alright so I know everyone’s been talking about it. That if youre 19
years old and you still haven’t had sex that’s you’re not “cool” and
people will peer pressure you into doing so. But dont conform to these
worldly things because you shouldn’t have sex before marriage. I
honestly don’t see what the point is. You want to do it because it feels
good? But it’d be SO much better when you do it with your husband/wife.
Matthew 5:28
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a women lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a women lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
That scripture to me is very powerful. You can see how God takes sex
seriously. Because sex IS sticky. If you allow yourself to bond
physically with several people during your dating years, you’ll diminish
the power of the bond between you and your future spouse.
Looking around at what is shown on tv, played on the radio and talked
about amongst people, it shows that our society is based on sex. Most
relationships are based on sex. You can’t just think “oh I’m just going
to make pig with my boyfriend” or “were just cuddling, we’re not going
to go that far” and think that NOTHING is going to happen. Chances are
something WILL happen. And trust me you don’t want to be that person
regretting what you did and carrying all the emotional baggage with you.
Now I’m not saying that God doesnt want us to have sex because He
created it. But, He wants us to have it when we are married with our
husband or wife.
1 Corinthians 6:16-17
Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said “the two will become one flesh”
Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said “the two will become one flesh”
This verse is another one that really gets to me. Sex is not just a
physical thing. It is spiritual too. When you have sex with someone you
both become one. That is why you’re supposed to only have sex when
you’re married.
The best thing to do and what I am doing is waiting, saving myself
until marriage. I know people say “waiting until youre married is
worthless, do you really think your husband is going to wait for you?”
and this is we’re you say “yes because he has me praying for him”
God has a plan and a purpose for you guys. Trust me waiting for the
right person and until your married is going to be SOOO much better and
worth the wait!! It’s not “cool” to have sex with so many people. When I
find out that someone who I am interested in has already had sex it
really isn’t a turn on to me. God is telling you to wait until you’re
married to haw sex not because he’s being mean but because he loves you
and wants to save you from all the emotional baggage that comes with
having sex at such a young age.
